Theology on Tap: Fr. John O’Neill – July 2017

Theology on Tap: Fr. John O’Neill
Rural Outreach and Ministry
Tuesday July 11, 7 PM
McNellie’s Downtown, 409 E 1st St
In 2017, we decided to extend Theology on Tap to a monthly occurrence!
This month, Fr. John O’Neill, from St. Benedict’s in Broken Arrow, will be speaking about the path of the young adult in Rural Outreach and Ministry.
Fr. John O’Neill has been named the Diocesan Coordinator for the Rural Outreach Office. This office will work with priests, deacons, and the lay community in the 51 rural parishes in the Diocese of Tulsa.  The mission of the office is to help the Catholic community in these rural locations to grow in their understanding of what it means to live their Catholic faith every day.  It will also be working with larger urban and suburban parishes as resources for the needs in rural eastern Oklahoma (www.dioceseoftulsa.org).
Theology on Tap occurs on the second Tuesday of each month in the downtown McNellie’s Side Bar. Social hour starts at 7:00, and the speaker begins at 8:00.
Please be sure to pick up a postcard schedule (seen to the right) with the rest of this season’s speakers and dates!
Baby-sitting for Theology on Tap will be available at Church of the Madalene.

Stay tuned for all details/news regarding this event by checking out the Facebook: Rural Outreach and Ministry page!
