From the Diocese of Tulsa:
The Memorial Day Mass scheduled for Calvary Cemetery this Monday, May 30, 2016 at 8:30 AM will be celebrated at St. Bernard of Clairvaux, 4101 East 101st Street at 8:30 AM instead of the cemetery. Please join Bishop Edward J. Slattery as we honor the brave men and women who have served in the military and remember those who died while serving. All are welcome.
Catholic cemeteries are places of hope and remembrance. Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die.” Our bodies will rise in the resurrection of the just at the end of time. May this Memorial Day lead us into heartfelt expressions of gratitude and prayerful remembrance of our nation’s heroes.
